Beeswax wraps

It was Charlie's mum Amanda who came to the school and taught each student to make a beeswax wrap for their lunchboxes.

Amanda, Charlie's mum came to our school to show everyone how to make beeswax wraps so that we can cut down the amount of waste we have at our school.  All students were given a square of fabric and some grated beeswax which was scattered over the fabric.  Amanda then placed some essential oil onto the wax and after placing a sheet of greaseproof paper over the top, ironed it until the beeswax melted.  We are now using our squares instead of plastic each day.  Thank you very much Amanda.
